Project Description
Alexandria has had a tram since 1860, the infrastructure and rolling stock are generally in very poor condition, it is only used by circa 12% of daily commuters. The tram service has become ineffective, and many commuters have stopped using it due to the low quality of service. The total length of the infrastructure is approximately 14.4km.
The Project rehabilitation aims to turn the Raml tram into a modern and efficient tram line with up-to-date infrastructure, systems and rolling stock and improve the commercial speed.
