The main objective of the feasibility study was to assess the development of a new multipurpose terminal at El Dekheila port, focusing on the economic, technical, and financial feasibility of creating a greenfield terminal designed to handle a variety of non-containerized commodities. The study also involved interviews with key port stakeholders and traffic forecasts to predict future cargo volumes. The insights gathered are guiding strategic decisions to enhance the port’s capacity and functionality, supporting its expansion and modernization efforts to better serve regional maritime logistics needs.
